everyone has been joking to me about the tank exploding , IM SO NERVOUS about it now , if it happens, i dont know what i would do

the stand is perfectly level though all the way around :)

Don't sweat it - as the water fills the tank, and I assume it is from a hose that cannot add more water than you can observe at a given moment, just watch all the seems as the level gradually goes up. Be ready to stop the fill as soon as you detect a leak. I am also assuming you did not make the tank yourself and it is made by a reputable company and carries some guarantee. If it is humid out do not confuse condensation with a leak. If you are filling the tank from a cold water tap expect condensation - just like the moisture that forms on the outside of a glass o cold lemonade on a hot day. I hope all goes well.
P.S. If you do detect a leak drain the water below the leak as to avoid any further problems. You might as well drain the whole tank and call the manufacturer for a replacement. Nowadays tanks are really made well and you should have no problems filling it..

OH MY GOD, YOU SHOULD STOP, IT'S GONNA BLOW !!!!

Heh heh, just kidding. When I filled mine it was with COLD water from the well. Remember that 80deg. water is going to affect joints different then cooler water, meaning they will expand/contract with different temperatures. In other words...don't panic.

You either found out there's nothing to be afraid of, or you drown. How'd it go?
