euro reef skimmer or nautolous by kent would be best fr a 55 galon i have a prizm and it is a piece of junk you can tse it right which of these are the best for a price range between 100-200 dolars for a reef tank :cool:

I have used both. I currently have an ES5-2 and have had very good results with it. IMO I would but an ER. HTH

I don't think the two are even in the same league. ER would be your best bet.

Agreed - before I found my used Euro-Reef, I came pretty close to buying a Kent skimmer. They were brand new at the time and no one had posted their experiences here yet. I'm glad I didn't get the Kent though because I haven't heard very good things about it around here lately. The Euro-Reef is one of the ONLY no brainers in Reef keeping... Very, very few pieces of reef keeping equipment have gotten the endless consisitant high raves that the Euro-Reefs have...

Expensive, but worth it...
