Reef Devil Skimmer owners

I understand you can use a mag 7 pump on this skimmer. I have always used a rio (I know, let's not turn this into a trash rio thread as 1,000 of those might be enough :)

Anyways I was considering swaping the rio for the mag 7, but only if it was going to make a difference in how the skimmer performs. Does anyone know the answer to this??

yeah i ran mine w/ a mag 700 and it still didn't perform worth poop...but the mag 700 did help

Mine actually runs pretty good now with the rio on it. I was just wondering if I upgrade the pump will it work better??

It sounds like yours worked better but not great.
