HP Pavillion recovery disc

Hi Gang,
I am hoping that someone out there can help me out.
I have an HP Pavillion 8766C desktop that is on the blink. I have spoke to HP and they told me that the recovery disc is no longer available.
Is there anyone out there that has this model that would be willing to let me "borrow" their recovery disc? I will pay for shipping both ways. If there is anyone that can help please let me know.
It sucks not having access to a computer at home.

why not just pick up a copy of windows and install it.

you can find most any driver that windows doesnt have, and you dont end up with all the 'junk' programs that the recovery disk will install.

otherwise i have a copy for a 8755C or an XE783, both of which will work, and both are Windows ME.

Been over a week now sense you were supposed to return the disks and they have not shown up nor have you replied to emails..............what is the status?
