I am new to this hobby and:
The tank has been up for almost 6 months. We are starting to add coral and so far have at mid level - stripped xenia in the center, on one end a frogspawn and at the other end a green leather.
on the substrate but close to a large rock below the 2 corals at the ends we have 2 differant mushroom rocks. one is stripped and the other is fluorescent green/pink with bumps or hairs.
the green pink is starting to attach to a rock.
The pink/green mushroom is at the bottom of the tank below the green leather, the stripped mushroom is at the bottom of the tank below the frogspawn.
Will the mushrooms and the corals get along? or have chemical warfare? can they be kept in the same tank? and climb along the rock?are the corals that are in this tank OK to keep together?
Can anyone recommend either a online source for this kind of information or a book?
I appreciate any advise regarding this combination. Thanks so much. Sue

As far as books go, I really like Aquarium Corals by Eric Borneman.

Can't help with the coral combination questions as I don't have most of what you are describing, though I do have shrooms (3 types) in 1 of my tanks.
