I have berlin sump under my 180 gal tank and its sponge baffle is used up. It looks exactly like BS-2 model from Marine Depot (http://www.marinedepot.com/aquarium_filters_berlin_sump.asp?CartId=).

Do you know where to buy a replacement sponge? I have searched many online places but no luck ...

Thanks,

Jarek

Could you use folded-over filter floss? Might be a bit too tight, compared to the stuff they make that out of, but worth a shot?

Jarek..... Champion lighting sells sump sponges... all different sizes. You will have to drill down a bit in their Filter section..... here is a link:

scroll down to sponges....

Thank you very much for all your replies! :) I have temporarily fixed it with some folded-over filter floss (unfortunately floss usually gets clogged faster than a sponge – apparently the one I am using is too dense) and I have ordered replacement sponges from Champion Lighting.

Thanks! :)
