I am not sure if this is where it belongs but I want to get rid of it before it becomes a problem if it is aptasia. Please go here to see the pictures. If it is aptasia how can I get rid of it? pic (http://www.geocities.com/ckfazz2000)

I almost forgot that there is no color inside of them and they do not have a bubble tip on the ends. From what I have seen, I think they are not but I want to make sure.

Looks like aptesia. Get a siringe fill it with vinegar and sqweeze the vinigar in its mouth. Don't touch it because it will close. They will die faster than you can say "Die Aptesia".

It sure looks like it. I tried Joe's Juice and it worked great. You feed them this juice and they just die. http://joesjuice.com/

I just used a couple peppermint shrimp to kill off all that was in my tank.

Thanks everyone,

If I use the vinegar method, what kind of vinegar and how much? Will this upset my water parameters or kill anything else in my tank?

No, use very little. You do not need much and it will do anything to your params...

I tried vinnegar and had a hard time, they close up when you get near with vinnegar, with the juice they open up and eat it all. Works first shot.

I got peppermint shrimp at LFS. only $2.66 a piece. They cleared about 20 aptasia in 3 days. I/m now aptasia free and have some fun shrimps to watch. They all come out at feeding time and try to catch the brine shrimp. Great cheap idea. Joes Juice is great for the aptasia you can see and have access to. What about the ones you don't see? Go peppermints!
