LS Selection

Hello all,

I finalized my LS Selection last night. Any suggestions or comments on LS the LS that I selected.

The LS will be going into the following tank.

AGA 120 gal Reef Ready
Sump with Gen-X Water Pump PCX 40
Euro-Reef ES6-2+ Protein Skimmer and pump

Lighting:
2 Actinic White 110w
2 Super Antinic 110w

LS:
Royal Gramma (1)
6 Line Wrasse (1)
Green Chromis (3)
Maroon Clownfish (2)
Mandarin Fish (2)
Peppermint Shrimp (2)
Blood Red Fire Shrimp (2)
Cleaner Shrimp (2)
Turbo Sails (?)
Emerald Crab (2)
Fancy Serpent Sea Star Tigar Striped (1)

If you plan on adding corals in the future you might want to reconsider the maroon clownfish. They seem to get irritated with anything new in their tank and will quickly move it.

Everything looks good, however, i would avoid the 2 mandarin fish at least until your tank is established. Mandarins are not really recommended for beginners or for newly setup tanks. They typically feed on pods and critters in your livesand and are VERY difficult to get to eat prepared foods. Because of their diet, a new tank does not have the pod populations to support them and they will slowly starve. Good luck!
