Do you know where I can find some more information on these? You mentioned them at the LIRA meeting.

The application is well established in horticulture. For product information and options... do a keyword search for greenhouse suppliers and articles on hothouse growing.

A few aquatics retailers do already sell motorized light tracks (like customaquatic.com
http://www.customaquatic.com/customaquatic/searchhomekeyresult.asp?descriptionlong=light+track

I also have a recent article on the subject too in advancedaquarist e-zine:
http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/oct2003/feature.htm

called "The static on static lighting"

This should get you started. Do let us know what you discover and share pics of your setup in time :)

kindly,

Anthony

Hi Anthony,

It's Rod W. from Seabay, San Francisco. It was great to meet you last January. Thanks for the above links! I haven't been able to find too much information on light movers in searches. I do have a 1 rpm motor perfect for the application though and hope to put it to work soon.

-R :)
