This is a dyi canopy for a 120 gal aga. Putting two ice-cap fans on one end of canopy pulling air out. The air inlet is on the other end of canopy on the back. This is a 6+ 8 air filter. Will this work okay?
Two 250 watt m/h, and two 110 watt vho. I have read that fans pusing in is the way to go. will pulling out and filters work?

why are you blowing air in? you don't need to blow air in, not like the canopy is sealed or anything. Infact blowing air in, if its a hits a MH could blow the bulb. on the other hand if you angle a fan right it will hit the water surface and help cool it a little bit.

Not sure what a 6 + 8 air filter is.

whats the CFM of them fans.

You should be fine w/ your setup. By having your fans blowing in it pulls in cool air, if you have them blow out you will be pulling moist air through them and they will fail sooner.

I agree - you're better off having your fans blowing inward. Pulling fresh air through the fans is better than pulling moist salty air through them.
