New Tank Advice

OK I am about to purchase a 135 reef tank and I want to make sure that I am getting my monies worth.

Berlin Sump BS-2
Skimmer EV-180 w/ Mag 7
Iwaki 40RLXT pump

Lighting.....MH 175 watts vs 250 I will use three. I want mostly soft corals that would be about 20 inches deep. I will also add two VHO's. Should I upgrade the Ballast that comes with the package? What is the difference? (except the price)

Any other suggestions would be great....the tank will be here in 4 weeks!!! and I want to start buying the equpiment now....

The Iwaki is a nice pump.

I'd give some consideration to going with the 250w MH vs the 175. Generally the price isn't that much more and there are more options in the 250 variety.

sounds like a good start for a setup. like the above says, 250s are a better idea for that tank. i would suggest 10000k MH with actinic 03 vho's to supplement the MH. just an opinion.
