After setting up my new 36 gallon bow tank, my wife looked at another part of our home and mentioned how she would love a larger tank...right over there. ;-)

Are there any good sources online to purchase a tank somewhere between 110 and 150 gallons.
I would like a wood stand and possibly a canopy.

Of course delivery too.

Any suggestions?

Glass or acrylic?

Check out the Vendor Experiences (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?forumid=8) forum for some good tank vendors. If you want to go with a custom tank, it sounds like many people have had great success with http://www.aquariumobsessed.com/. On the other hand, if you're looking for a common tank and nothing fancy, then you might be able to hit up a reliable LFS and see what they may be able to offer you. It may be cheaper since you won't have to pay shipping charges, etc. It would also be helpful to post your location in case someone knows of a good tank builder local to you.

BTW, hurry up and buy that tank before the wife changes her mind. :D

HTH.

IMO if you are only purchasing something up to a 150 or 180 gallon tank the best deals will be at the LFS...by the time you adding in any shipping you will be beyond any fish store prices....my LFS sells 180 gallon tanks, stand, glass covers and double flo light for $850.00, 75 gallons are around $299.00...you will not be able to purchase one online with shipping for that amount...if you LFS it to expensive go to another, or ask if any sales are coming around, tank manufactures have alot of sales...my friend purchased a perfecto 260 gallon tank for $899.00 which included the stand....that was a deal....
