Anyone know where I can fill up a CO2 tank for my calcium reactor?
Preferably in Orange County or Rockland County near Suffern. If not near those places then anywhere:D

Thanks!

Brian,

I bought mine at Tech Air in Wappingers. See if there is one near you.

I have to have mine sent out to fill-takes about 3-4 weeks to get it back. I have 2 cylinders for that reason.
Any welding place can have it filled. Most do medical and beverage grade/

I have a tank. I just need a place to fill it.
Will they do that at Tech Air Frank?

Thanks for the info!

If you want to keep your tank, then they will have to send it out for you and it will take a few weeks. I used to trade mine in at Tech Air for a full one.

Trading out is safe. I know most would not agree with this but my local places purge their tanks with nitrogen prior to them becoming CO2 only. Aluminum tanks CO2 only as far as I know.

If your in the New Windsor area, Air gas trades, and it's like $12 bucks. Later,

That's cool. Will I have to give them my empty tank or will I need to purchase it from them and then trade from there?'

Thanks Rob!

Brian,

Usually it is a straight up trade. When I used to go to Tech Air, I went outside and picked out the cleanest looking tank. I talked to alot of people and I agree with Adam, trading is safe. Just kinda hard to give up that nice shiny new tank:D
