HI KEITH,

IT'S A CORALIFE UNIT PURCHASED AT A BIG PET STORE IN I BELIEVE PORTSMOUTH, NH. THE COLOR IS LIKE A POLISHED NICKEL FINISH. AS I SAID, IT HAS NEVER BEEN USED. I'M NOT AN EXPERT ON LIGHTS. AFTER GETTING THIS LIGHT WHICH WAS PURCHASED NEW FOR $350 I GOT OUT OF THE HOBBY. I KNOW IT WAS A TOP OF THE LINE UNIT. IT ALSO HAS TWO PLUGS ON IT IF THAT TELLS YOU ANYTHING ABOUT THE POWER.

THANKS,
SHERI

How many watts is the light?

IT'S GOT 4 SETS OF 2 BULBS. TWO OF THE BULBS SAY 65 WATT ACTINIC. THE OTHER SET OF BULBS SAY 10,000 65 WATT WHATEVER THAT MEANS. HOPE THAT HELPS.

Keith I currently have that fixture it is very quiet. It has two small fans that you would have to put your ear next to, to hear. I have read that some people have gotten noisy fans but Coralife replaced them free.

To be honest when I was saw your tank denvig I didn't even relize it had fans in the light.....they are definatly quieter then some pumps and skimmers :)

Sorry about typing in caps. I'm new to this hobby and this web site. Thanks for the heads up.
