Need quick answer! Chicken wire, safe?

Hey guys,

Just cut off a mushroom from my stash, and placed it somewhere else in the tank, is it alright to keep a piece of chicken wire over it to keep it in place? The rock is held down by other rocks, I can't take it out to glue, and there's no way to glue this thing down..

Is this safe for a week or so? Thanks guys!

Metal Corrodes in salt water so I wouldn't suggest it. There are plastic "chicken wire" products at most hardware stores.

You can either use bridal vale to hold it down or put some rubble in a small glass and put the mushroom in the glass in a low flow area and allow it to attach to a piece of rubble which you can then glue in place.

You either have awfully small chicken wire or real big mushrooms.

Use a rubber band. sorry you said over it, how about a piece of vinyl screen from home depot

Perhaps you might try the little plastic baskets that strawberries come in at the grocery store.
