making it somewhat affordable

I'd want to see that under lighting other than Actinics. I don't doubt that it is purple, I would just want to see what color it is under 10,000K MHs or something more standard,

well, if anybody else is interested, we can ask reefermadness for a picture under 10K's (good idea Matt)
i have worked with reefermadness before and it was a positive experience

or maybe cutting up this coral is just a bad idea....

I'd be interested to see a photo under MH's.

somebody else didn't care about the lighting, it's gone!!!!!Not to imply any dishonesty on the part of this online supplier, but that somebody could also end up paying a lot for brown Acropora sp. if they are not careful.

Some suppliers (not all, not necessarily this supplier), have a reputation for showing the corals in their best light, and then using Photoshop to do the rest. It kind of ruins it for the legitimate suppliers.

There's plenty of purple colonies out there,

FWIW guys, I have a large premium Acro comming in tomorrow. It will be a donation as part of the group bulb order.
Maybe the best thing to do with it will be to break it up so that more members get a wack at it.

I will post a pick tomorrow but it is described by the guy that cherry picks for me as "XL Rosario or Granulosa light blue/ green
