75g tank is about the perfect starting size, in my opinion.
You should do well. Good luck!

I just left my RO/DI on from 1am-7am and I don't even have 20g yet!! Is there something wrong??? It says it should be 110g/day. It's gonna take me a week to make 75g.

ro/di run slow when the water is cold. even under the best conditions your ro/di will only make 4.5 gallons a hour.

Make sure you adjust your flow restrictor. The normal ratio is 4 or 5 to 1 (waste to purified). So for every 4 cups of waste water...you should have one cup of purified water.

All RO units need to be adjusted cause everyones water pressure is diffrent and this will effect your units productivity. Therefor, the manufactures usually go very conservative ...some as much as 10 to 1. This allows the consumer to simply snip off the excess to achieve the proper ratio.

The cold water will slow your unit down but not by much. If its not producing the right amount, the chances are that its due to your flow restrictor.

If this doesn't help let me know what your water pressure is and what your waste ratio is and I'll try to help you from there.

Just an FYI, you might want to invest in a TDS meter. It will come in very handy when determing when your RO Membrane and DI cartridges are exhausted.

The tds will not tell you when your sediment or Carbon are exhausted. For the Sediment you can usually tell by looking at it (if its dark, replace it)...and I would just replace the carbon when you replace the Sediment. ...or you can buy a chlorine test kit to determine when its been exhausted.

Thanks, I hadn't heard about that store before. Being a northern guy, I don't get down to the south shore often. I'll have to go on a road trip if it's a great store.
