I had two perfectly brown acropora colonies that I got reasonably at CRA.
Now, the last couple times I've looked at them, I've noticed something very disappointing.
They are losing their color to this ugly bright blue color at the tips. It's like a strong Royal blue color that I find offensive.
What can I do??? Please help me.
I'll post pics later, but fyi my parameters:
lighting 2 x 250 hqi
photoperiod 10 hours
alk 3.5, calcium 425,
nitrates/ammonia/nitrites 0 ppm
pH: 8.0-8.3
There are a lot of other corals in the tank too.
