Thought it was a worm at first but I don't think so now. Any ideas?

by the way it loks it lokks like it might be a worm.Or it might be a peice of coral because of the head cant tell sry i couldnt help

When I first noticed it, I had a flashlight and the bright light made it retract about half way. It curl to one side or the other at times. I haven't a clue. I don't think it's a coral but who knows.
