Anyone have any idea what could be taking large chunks out my
mushrooms? I only have cured live rock in there right now I'm
trying to get my pod population established. I have seen what
appear to be white slug like critter about 3/8" long and some very
small snails (one on it's back this morning). Everything else looks
great. Any ideas? Oh yeah! Glad the meeting went well last night
I got freakin lost (what a bonehead), by the time I got into Waltham it was 6:30 I was pretty miffed at myself. Sorry I missed
it.:mad2:
See you at the next one,
Eric

I'll simplify the question. What eats mushrooms? (no 60s 70s and 80s jokes lol)

From your description, I'd guess the white slug-looking thing.
I've not heard of anything that eats shrooms.
This may be something you take to the main reef discussion forum. Get a picture for us, please. I coulda used that slug about this time last year. ;)

I think there are two of them in there you can have one. The rock was from someone else's tank that was taken down. I have pictures but still need to develop (no digital yet, this weekend)
Thanks for the response
Eric

my african thorny starfish ate a shroom in my eel tank...only coral on the rock....just a thot, but do you have any chocolate chip starfish or the sort in there?
