Same stuff. I've been buying sushi wrappers from oriental grocers for over a year. $1.69 for 5 huge sheets. My tangs and foxface love the stuff. I put it on a clip everyday.

Thanks for asking that question. I was wondering the same thing. Now I know tangs will eat it but will clowns and a chromis?

I am pretty sure I pay less than $2.00 for it at stop n shop... every fish in my tank eats it... clown, royal gramma, damsels, purple tang, juv emperor, ive even caught the star fish and hermits munching on it... I feed it every AM before the lights even come on

Not sure. You can get this dried nori in any oriental grocery store that carries stuff for sushi. You might even find it at Trader Joes.

Hannafords carry it in the specialty food sections. I would assume any decently sized store would carry it.

i have seen it in every super stop 'n shop i have been to... i have also seen it in almost every Shaw's i have been to as well... they even have it at the worlds smallest stop n shop in Arlington... where everything is twice the price of a normal supermarket (2 liter bottle of soda $1.79 on sale, most salad dressings $4.00) ... i think there it was $8.00 but u got 10 sheets...

My damsel and tomato clown loved nori. So did my urchin and the snails. Good stuff to feed.
I didn't know royal grammas would eat it too. Good to know.

The grocery store around here sells it for $1.50 for 5 big sheets. My lfs 2 blocks away sells the same package for $3.00.

I get the shredded version at most asian markets (super 88 or Kam Man Food).

The tangs inhale it like spaghetti!

For all of my asian groceries (for myself and my fish!) I go to Chinatown. The prices there are drastically lower than any of the chain supermarkets.

It's also an excuse to go out for dinner! ;)

I would recommmend that you check and make sure that it's not "Teriyaki Nori" (package may also say Teriyaki Yaki Nori). Yaki Nori is fine but Teriyaki Nori has some sauces and other flavorings added. Not that I've had a bad experience with it but better safe than sorry.

Dave there is a Kam Man supermarket in Quincy on Quincy Ave. If you are familar with the area it is where Bradlees used to be. There is also a Strawberries, Radio Shack & Dominoe's pizza in the same shopping plaze. Oh and a Subway. That is where I got my Nori.

Excellent point. Make sure you are buying unflavored/unseasoned Nori. TO be safe, check the ingredients label to make sure there is only Nori Seaweed.
