I'm using a SEN 700 to operate my EV 180, but the pump is so loud at times. I guess it's more submersible really than inline. My guess is that being designed to run in sump (although able to operate inline) it gets too hot and then it starts to humm loudly, so loud in fact that I can hear on the upper floor of the house, and even outside on the other side of the wall (brick wall, BTW).
So I've been thinking of getting an Iwaki 20 RLT to replace the SEN, but I've never used an Iwaki, so I don't really know how this will work. Anyone has seen both operating? Your ideas are welcomed.
