I have a green open brain that is healthy and growing.
It likes being placed directly on the sand, and I feed it tiger shrimp and mysis shrimp once every week. In my tank, it gets moderate current.
It’s amazing how it can eat such large pieces.

I keep my green & red brain higher in the tank due the fact that I use PC lighting & was concerned that the lighting at the bottom of the tank might lack the required intensity. I feed it Hikari freeze-dried krill a couple of times a week. He's grown quite large and usually appears quite happy (i.e. big & not shrivelled).
I'd urge you to add one to your tank if you havn't already. The brain coral is quite entertaining to watch & very colorful & interesting. I've had mine since the tank was about 2 months old leading me to believe that they're not incredibly demanding corals.
