I saw this thread:
http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=322941 (http://archive.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=322941) and this member bulldog12 posted his aiptasia problem! WOWZA! And he says he took care of it all with Joe's Juice. That sounds like a good product, is it?

Believe it or not, that is bad I agree. But I have seen as bad if not worse in a friends 55 that let his few majanos(sp) go unchecked.

He ended up having to tear everything down and start over with new LR and everything, there had to be literally a couple thousand.

Still though thats one bad aiptasia problem in that picture

Ack! That's bad!

I noticed that Premium Aquatics is now carrying Joe's Juice too.
Nice to know just in case one of these suckers pops up in the tank.

I bought some of that Joe's juice stuff to try to control my mojano's. It only made them shrink up a little for a couple days and now they're back. I don't have any aptaisia, thank god. The mojanos don't seem to hurt anything, but they multiply like rabbits. I have injected them with kalkwasser before and that works better than Joe's IMO.

I would try a Copperband Butterfly before replacing everything. I also would try taking some Calcium in a syringe and injecting some in the Aiptasia although a tedious project. Once under control the Copperband can help maintain any new growth.

I tried a copperband. The only thing he would eat is my tube worms. Didn't touch the mojanos or the hydroids in my tank(why he was purchased to start). Eventually, my hippo tang stressed him out and he died.

I have had good success with peppermint shrimp. The process is slow but effective.
