To Clean or Not To Clean Southdown Sand [Archive] - Reef Central Online Community Archives

I just bought some Southdown Sand from the Depot and was wondering if I need to clean it. If I should clean it how do you clean it?

I didn't clean mine, some people argue you should, others argue you shouldn't.
