I got a float switch from Aquatic Ecosystems yesterday. The box looks like it had been slightly crushed. The float part of the float switch looks like it was stepped on. :( I paid $19 for the switch and $33 for two day air. Now I am having to pay an additional $33 for shipping for hte replacement float switch. I cannot blame AES for this, but I am going to have a float switch valued at $85 now... :mad2:
I knew I would have problems. Don't know why I did not choose FedEx. :(

Will UPS not refund the shipping amount? I have had the opposite luck with UPS and FedEx. FedEx normally screws my stuff up.

I don't know if they will or not. I've only had good luck with FedEx.

I just talked with AES. Turns out I misread the e-mail. I am not being charged for the new switch or it's shipping. What I was e-mailed was the return confirmation. They're sending me a package to return the damaged switch back to them. The e-mail showed what they are paying for this.
