Chiller question

Can you use copper-nickel aloy condensing unit to build a chiller? I know copper will leach into the tank, but I have a marine a/c unit that I would like to convert. Any insight?

Only the heat exchanger of the chiller have to be saltwater corrosion resistant. I'm not an A/C expert or know alot about metal. I think titanium is the best metal to use in saltwater application. Even stainless steel will corrode in saltwater overtime. I do own four chiller though. I have an aquaC, Aquanetics, and 2 UMI. All of the thoese chiller use titanium heat exchanger.
