will this bubble trap work

i just ordered a euro-reef cs8-1 it will not fit into the the sump i have now i going to be building my first sump out of a 40 breeder tank can you please take a look at my plans and tell me if my bubble trap will work. the return pump is a LG 3 mdqx-sc pumping about 900 gph will the bubble trap work.

I just saw this and wonder how it worked out for you. I'm thinking about something just like it, with a 40 gal. breeder, same number of baffles. Your first baffle Middle wall, seems kind of high at 11". It's a 3 inch drop to the next level.

Yes i did build it like this. i did change a couple of things the space between the bubble trap is only 1 1/2" instead of 2 1/2" and the middle bubble trap baffle is 1 1/4" of the bottom instead of 2" kind of tough to get your hands in between the baffles to silcone then in place but it can be done. you can see the finshed product in my photo gallery. i now have no micro bubbles going back into the main tank.
