Ok I Put two coats of primer and four coats of a 2 part epoxy paint
onto the steel aquarium stand frame.

Should I epoxy the inside facing of the wood (the part that will be exposed to the sump) that is to be attached? Or will a latex paint work?

Since the wood is going to pe painted will it be alright to use 1/2" particle board for the side panels?

The top and bottom is going to get covered by 1" plywood.

thnx

Latex paint would be fine, but particle board is not even worth burning in my opinion. The first time it gets wet it will swell up and fall apart. I would use plywood myself.
