Looks like your second baffle between the skimmer area and the pump area needs to be a bit taller.

I am new to the hobby and I am hoping to build my own 40 Gallon tank with a 20 Gallon sump.....problem is I can't find detailed schematics to get the plumbing right......

Where did you learn how to build one? How to choose the right pump, the diameter of the intake and outake tubes etc....

Well CanadaTank I learned most of my sump information from

http://www.melevsreef.com/what_sump.html

I think this web sight has the best information available

BE SURE TO LOOK AT EVERYTHING THIS GUY HAS ON THE WEB SIGHT

I'm working on the same F Design.

Two things I see.

The return from the tank to the fuge may be too much water depending on how you configure the flow.

If the heater stays in the vertical position it might be exposed after evaporation loss.

I plan on laying the heaters down next to my Euro-Reef and using a small pump to add water to the fuge.
