Sealing Acrylic

My LFS gave me a new overflow to put on a 75 gallon reef tank. The catch is that the overflow has separated from the seam. what is the best adhesive to make the repair? Is silicon a viable option? Thanks for reading and the response.

You should probably use Weldon, available at plastic stores. Or you can check tap plastics on line www.tapplastics.com it is great on acrylic
