Just wanted to say thanks to the DIY section and the helpful people here. I sucessfully made my own 20 gallon mantis tank with acrylic sheet using the 'pins method' No leaks, looks good, mantis is happy as can be. I let it cure for about 3 weeks before putting into use, so far its been about 2 months no problems. Here are a few pictures.

I did a test fill after 3 days without a brace and it looked like it'd be fine, but it did bow out some in the middle so I decided to stick a brace on there just to be safe.

That looks super nice! Where is the shrimp? Are those it's antennae sticking up in back? How does it like it's new home?

That is him sticking out the right hand side indeed. He seems to love his new home. He shed his skin in there which I hear is pretty hard for the species I have to do in captaivity so thats good. Thanks!
