I was following the thread you referenced. And I appreciate you shooting me a fast answer. But, I was wondering if anyone had any new news on what has taken place in the last couple of days.

I do not know about yesterday, but on Wednesday Dave said there were 2 different goups interested. The way he was talking it didn't sound like he expected anything this week.

I talked with Jeff @ MHA today and asked if they were going to be opened on Saturday. Jeff wasn't 100% certain, but he said that since it was their busiest day, he said that he expected that they were. (i.e. he wasn't told not to come to work) Dave Sr. was apparently picking up some fish at DIA. So, I'm assuming if he is picking up inventory, that's a good sign.

Jeff told me the same thing about some potential investors to keep the store open permanently. He expected an answer maybe by tonight.

Scott, when you say sold, do you mean new owners? I remember Dave was talking about a backer.

That isn't always a bad thing. My lfs was bought and is now getting better by the day :D

Dave kinda hinted at the fact that he would still come in and work at the shop when he had time, that was a couple days ago though, so maybe things have changed. Hopefully they can work something out along those lines.

I stopped by today and talked to dave, he says they should have an answer by tonight about a group either purchasing the whole place, or partial.

BTW, I also saw dave at US Aquariums looking at corals?!?!?!
