I would like to know what you use for acrylic tubing for your DIY
projects. Do you use 1/8" wall or 1/4" wall? 1/4 " inch is so much more expensive than 1/8" I was wondering what everyone uses.

I would guess most use 1/8" just for the cost savings. Either is plenty strong for our purposes though 1/4" has more surface area for gluing so should give more actual joint strength. All things being equal, I'd recommend the 1/4" wall, but not all things are equal - esp price:)
If you can afford it - use the 1/4", if not, the 1/8" works fine too.
Personally, I rarely use less than 1/4" wall, it has more meat for tapping pipe threads into.
