Help with overflow system

Hi! I want to know which setup is better?
1. corner or center internal overflows - big and ugly, but can handle surge system..

2. Hang in back overflows (drill holes on the back of the tank or slot (strainer type) Can this setup handle surge system??

Please tell me which overflow is better??

I posted the same question last month. Everyone has his or her own preference. I decided to cut 2 holes for 1.25 BHs in opposite, top corners of the tank and have 2 overflows attached on the inside of the tank. As well as having 2 closed loops.
