reef safe materials

I am going to make a refugum out of a 10 gal tank and was thinking of using plexilass for the dividers and then silicone to put them in place does anyone know if these are reef safe?

The siliconewill not stick to the plexiglass very good. You would be better off going to HD and getting some glass cut the size you need and silicone them in place. I did it myself about a year ago and it has worked very well. Just make sure you use a silicone w/o a fungicide in it.
