cutting plexiglass?

I'm considering buying a used plexiglass tank for use as a sump. Will it be difficult for me to drill, and/or route a hole for the bulkhead to my return pump (non-submersable)? I'd hate to crack it.

Nah. It's easy. Just go slowly and make sure the router bit or the holesaw doesn't get to hot.
