any1 make a DIY bulkhead for a 1" bulkhead?

trying to come up with a way to DIY a 1" bulkhead. the tanks are drilled to 1.75" (i believe its standard for a 1" bulkhead). I know I need a male and female coupler for each side... but what size?

You can find some conduit material made for 1" electrical panels, made of plastic. The threads screw together nicely, and with some gasket material you can get a good seal.

thanks, I'll give it a looksie. I tried PVC, but it got too tight before making a good seal.

Electrical fittings do not have tapered threads, and thus can be tightened down all the way, as Marc mentioned.
