Extra pair of legs

Well this is the second time it hapens. Only I don't know wahat is going on. I have 2 scrlet leg hermits (red legs) and 3 bleu leg hermits. One of the blue leg actually found an old shell hidden in my rock and swithced. But that is not what I need help with. If you look at the picture I posted, you see that there is a pair of legs outside of a shell but both my red legs hermits seam fine. Where do those legs come from. The same thing hapened 3 weeks ago with my blue ones. Can anybody explaine this?

I can't say for sure but it sounds like thier molting (sheding) thier old skins.

Should I remove this sheding or leave it there? If this is wats going on.

Leave it in there, it will dissolved/be eaten in a few days.

mine do that alot. they eventually disapear. :)
