I got a couple of tomato clowns recently and noticed when I got home one of them is missing a pectoral fin {enter Nemo joke here}
Do fins grow back? Pretty much the hole thing is missing.

As long as something doesnt keep tearing or picking at the fins, they will grow back. It helps if the tank is healthy also.

cool. it's down to the nub and I haven't seen any growth for about a month. hopefully it's not a defect. but he seems happy anyway.

I saved a yellow tang, a flame angel, and 2 false percula clowns that had fin and tail rot I used melefix. I dont have any corals but my hermits were fine it sais you can use it in a reef. It helps with tissue regeneration. It speeds up the process any way. I think I used it for 10 days. Good luck,
Lacey
