i bought a flame wrasse and i need to build a wrasse proof lid, either a glass or eggcrate. the tank is lit by a 150watt hqi bulb, which one either the glass or the eggcrate will not effect the light very much. i really need it to be good for my corals and my wrasse because i have a male lineatus wrasse coming soon also. thanks,
seth

I would go with eggcrate...doesn't bother evaporation as much, and it's easy to cut to desired shape

the only thing about eggcrate is i was worried that it would block the light alot.

I use eggcrate I had a concern with it's use as well so I went and got some of the silver kind and fit it to the tank. I placed it on top and look how the tank's lighting had changed I did not notice any change. To me I can not tell any differance with it on or off.

Moyes reef uses clear acrylic eggcrate. Where can we get that?
