Hi! Can anyone tell me about the Strawberry Crab (liomera sp)?

Specifically, I would like to know if it is reef safe and if it is compatible with peaceful community fish (i.e. royal gramma, blue-green chromis, six-line wrasse, diamond back goby, etc.).

Also, will it harass scarlet-leg hermit crabs?

I appreciate any info you have on this crab.

Thanks!

Kat,

I have three of them in a 50 gallon frag growout tank and
they haven't bothered anything in there. There's one fish
(a gold bar maroon clown) and about a dozen astrea snails,
and several scarlet hermits, as well as soft corals and some
acro and montipora frags.

The strawberry crabs are nocturnal, so you're not likely to
see them when the lights to your aquarium are on.

When I first got them, I was very leery of putting them in my
main tank, but after observing them for more than a month,
I don't think they would cause any problems.

I have 1 in my 180 sps tank, and you won't see them during the day, but they cool anyway, I haven't seen it mess with anything.
