i had a problem with my stand and was forced to move my tank yesterday missed the game and all but today my amonia is off the charts high
my other paramiters are fine
nitrate >10
nitrite>.2
ph 8.1
salinty 1.023

so my question is what should i do?most of my corals, fish and live rock are in a tub but are very unhappy in there. how do i get my amonia down so i can get my tank back to normal
thanks in advance

I would start out by doing water changes. I really can't think of anything that should make your ammonia jump up like that. I've moved my tank a few times in the last 4 yrs, and, although I don't test, I've never had any real problems with my fish or my mushrooms.

I even changed over to a sand dsb from a plenum and never had any problems. Good luck

Did you have a DSB in the tank you moved? Did you disturb it or move it?

Amquel will work, but its a temporary fix for an emergency [the ammonia may spike again when the amquel gets used up, it depends on what caused the spike].
