I was up at the LFS yesterday and overheard something troubling. An older lady was looking at a coral banded shrimp and talking about how pretty it was. She kept telling her freind how much she wanted it but didnt know if her other fish would like it. She then explained that her other fish had eaten at least ten different shrimps and all the hermits in the tank!!!!!! Catch a clue lady! I tried to mention that she shouldnt get it but she was on it. Some people are soooo clueless. kinda sad

Because of people like that is that some LFS make there money. An honest LFS would try to ask what fish she has, not stay quiet and agree.

There was a guy at my LFS that wanted to add a trigger to his reef tank so that it would kill his other fish. He did not want the other fish and after the trigger killed the other fish he could catch the trigger because it was big. All this in a 55 gallon tank. He was going to give the trigger to a friend after. He friend had a 72 gallon bow front.

yeah... some people are pretty dense...... some are ignorant..... and others.... well.... plain stupid...... one can only try their hardest to convey a message across yet its sometimes not enough.... maybe she will learn when she figures out that she had spent over $200 dollars on ornamental shrimp alone :eek1: :lol:

We've had several customers like that.... We will not sell to them, so they usually leave mad but come back the first time they need help with something else.
