Removing green algae on glass...

I have a lot of green algae growing on the glass of my tank. It is very difficult to remove with a standard brush. Any suggestions?

Take a one sided razor blade and it will come right off. Works every time. I would throw them out after using them because they can rust. They are like a dollar for five or six.

either that, or use a mag float. but use every couple of days, not just when it "needs" it. that makes the scrubbing much easier.

I use a floating magnet like every other day. Works pretty good.
