Another MH Ballast upgrade question

Ok I have a dual 175w MH magnetic ballast. This is wired to mogol sockets in a VHO combo reflector. I would like to upgrade to a dual 250w MH system. Can I just swap out the ballasts in the ballast box and upgrade the bulbs or is there more to it.

Also if I just need the ballasts where can I get them for a reasonable price.

That's what I have done several times. I went from 175MH --> 250MH --> 250MV.

I believe the PFO ballasts are potted which(I think), renders gut swapping an impossibility.

That 's all there is to it, a new ballast mounted in your excisting box and the right wattage lamp.

Try calling around to some of your local industrial type electrical stores. There are places online that you can order from but I can't recall any off the top of my head right now, I think Grainers might be one. A quick google search should pull up a few.
