Sounds like you are the road to hair algea elimination! What a happy day! That's how my started, all over the tank one day, turning brown the next, then started floating off in hunks.

the only thing i did was reduce the lights by 1hour in the morn and 1hour at night. i add spagetti macro algae in sump...
