Do you turn off the pump when feeding Cyclop? I have 4 sea swirls. No other power head and no close loop.

If I power off the pump, the Cyclop won't move around. If I leave the pump on, then the Cyclop gets blown into the overflow after a little while.

What do you do?

Thanks!

i was thinking about this myself since i just bought some, i think I am going to put my return pump on its own switch and just kill it for about 30 minutes when I feed and just let the powerheads blow it around for a bit, that way everything has a chance to get it. unless of course someone has a suggestion for feeding it that i like.

i leave pumps on, it will go down the overflow yes, but it also stays in the water colum and gets most of it pumped back up untile its all gone.

I leave everything on when I feed my tank cyclops.
