Hi ppl, i made a mistake by turning off the water circulation in my sump tank as i disconnect it to do some fixing. My mistake was that i left my caulepra in the sump as i let the silicon glue on my sump to dry. Now as i took the caulepra out, i saw a little portion of the leaves had turn yellowish and some transparent but remain predominantly green. Is it because it is dying?? I have now put the caulepra in my main tank already...would the caulepra slowly die and affect my tank parameters??

I would remove the parts that are not green anymore.

I would venture to say the yellowing and transparent look to some of the caulepra is evidence of it dying.
I would remove those portions immediately. I've seen caulepra begin to look like that when it is going sexual. When caulepra goes sexual it releases toxins into your water.
Removal is a wise decision IMO. Why risk it?
