Snail ID

Ok, these little fellers are only out at night, I've never seen them till now, I just got my calcium levels up. Are they parasitic?

I don't know what they are but I have thousands of them. They only come out at night. I have been watching them to make sure there not eating anything I would rather they not eat and am happy to say I have not seen them on any corals ever. Still worries me how many there are in my tank though.

If anyone has info I would like to know also.

They are fine, I can never remember the name tho. They don't get very large either.

I have some of those too. I thought I was having babys a few months back I had some snails sperm up my tank. You could see this milky white stuff coming out of them.

I actually bought some live rock and the bucket that it was in I left out for a couple days, as days go on most hitchhikers that are still in the water will make there way up the side of the bucket and you can then catch them and put them in the tank. I did that with a few of these snails, and some starfish.

Yeah, they are micro-grazers. Not a bad thing at all.
